Adequate staff and teaching material for Postdoctorate Training – M.Ch. (CVTS), M.Sc. (Perfusion Technology), B.Sc. (Perfusion Technology) as mentioned above.

The department has surgical wing at KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC. Here, we perform all types of open and closed heart surgeries along with Thoracic as well as Vascular procedures and other major emergency procedures like Aortic Dissection, Post Infarction VSR, Pulmonary Thrombo-embolism and Vascular Trauma.  We are operating on an average 1000 cases per year. The department of CVTS is fully equipped with 4 Operation Theatres (2 OTs dedicated to paediatric patients), Two Adult Intensive Therapy and One Paediatric Intensive Therapy Unit and Post Operative Recovery Room. We have 30 bedded Ward.
