NICU:

A level 3-A facility with a total capacity of 30 beds, with 60-80# average daily occupancy. The sub-sections of NICU include:

Nursery 1: Inborn, high-dependency unit

Nursery 2: Outborn high dependency unit

Phototherapy/step-down unit: For the continuity care of low-acuity infants and phototherapy administration

Isolation room: To care for neonates with proven or suspected fulminant sepsis and other neonatal conditions that mandate isolation.

TPN/IV fluid preparation room with Laminar Flow Hood/Cabinet

Antenatal consultation and counseling services for high-risk pregnancies:

  1. Mothers with increased risk for preterm births (provider-initiated and spontaneous preterm births), as determined by treating OBGYN physician.
  2. Pregnancies with anticipated complex or extensive delivery room resuscitation
  3. Pregnancies with antenatal diagnoses of
    1. Fetal anomalies
    2. Congenital heart diseases
    3. Proven or probable genetic disorders
  4. High-risk pregnancies requiring multi-specialty or multi-disciplinary team management
  5. High-risk pregnancies with anticipated NICU admission
  6. Pregnancies with uncertain or guarded neonatal long-term outcomes
  7. Previous pregnancy with fetal/neonatal complications (IUFD, stillbirth, prematurity, Birth asphyxia)
