Department of Psychiatry of J. N. Medical College, Belgaum, established in 1974, is the first Psychiatry Department in a Medical College in North Karnataka.
Psychiatry department moved to the newly designed free 30 bedded Psychiatry ward KLES Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital from February 2007. This new ward has excellent facilities for patient care like isolation beds, separate male/female/pediatric beds. Read more
